The Sofitel Philadelphia: The Washington Post Finds French Flavor in Philly

Sofitel PhiladelphiaLooking for digs in a City of Brotherly Love? Why not check out a Sofitel Philadelphia, recently reviewed in The Washington Posts Bed Check column. The author describes a sure je ne sais quoi washing over her when she entered her room, conjuring a room shed once stayed in while in Paris:

There was definitely magnificence (and a hint of Japanese influence) in a rooms wood accents, a wood-paneled wall at a back of a bed, a Frank Lloyd-Wright character French doors to a bathroom. And a bathroom: Granite as well as marble-look perfection. Commodious. A bamboo fire in a slender vase lending which hold of class. Huge floor-to-ceiling counterpart (knowing a significance of a great counterpart - now thats French).

Sure similar to which bathroom, my husband declared some-more than once. He was as taken with it as we was with a bed. That would be a SoBed: all hypoallergenic, with a featherbed atop a mattress as well as a fanciful poufy duvet (changed for each guest!) to graze under in a (spectacularly silent) air-conditioning. A bed to remind we which a perfect sleep exists, read a room literature, as well as it was true. we not only slept similar to a baby, we dreamed we was. . . in Europe. Honestly.

Hot rates are available this tumble from $167.50 when we book with Five Star Alliance.
