Home to award-winning accommodation, fine artisan whiskey and smoked fish, spectacular scenery and free-spirited adventure, the island has been a source of inspiration for those that go there artists, musicians, and visitors alike.

For the second year running Chief Islander Nadim Sadek, in association with the Royal Hibernian Academy, is hosting an art exhibition in DublinsMonstertruck Gallery and Studios as a result of the successful artists residency held on the island of Inish Turk Beg in September 2010.Please clickhere to watch Nadims reasoning behind the initiative.

From 16th29th March 2011,Life Vividly Lived, Part 2 will celebrate the unique responses of seven artists to the island and showcase a broad range of expertise includingphotography, printmaking, drawing, painting, sculpture and installation. The widely-exhibited artists selected for this years residency have each created their own personal interpretation of the locations breathtaking beauty and intoxicating spirit.
